2023

Apr 1 - The Texan Theater  • Greenville, TX  In what has to be one of the finest theaters in Texas and beyond, I got to share the stage with Scott Sean White & Helene Cronin. We were all blown away by the venue. Many thanks to friends who lived close by as well as those who traveled far.
 

Mar 17 - Love & War in Texas  •  Plano, TX 

A wonderful crowd of friends, family and fans joined Scott Sean White and me in this storied venue.  I hadn't played with Scott in years and, man, has he developed into a top notch hit song-writer.  Thanks for the invite, Scott, and what a fun night!

 

Mar 4  -  Dosey Doe Breakfast , BBQ  & Whiskey Bar •  Woodlands, TX 

What a great time on my first night in this "Baby Doe" venue.  Wonderful sound and setup!  Thanks to the locals, as well as some who drove quite a distance to get there. Also, thanks to owner Steve Said for bringing me in, and to Big Al Bettis for jumping up on stage and playing together for the first time in decades!  Looking forward coming back to this top-notch room.

2022

Dec  10 -  In The Music Room  •  Waxahachie, TX

I doubted that this year would come close to last years' Christmas Concert, seeing as there was a major storm blowing that night.  I was wrong. What a glorious night!  A packed house of old and new faces joined in and sang along to numerous songs.  We laughed and we cried, and if there as a storm outside, we never knew it.  Thank you Randy, Helen, Chris, Paul, and so many others who chipped in to make this a most magical Christmas experience.  Can't wait 'til next year!

 

Aug  2 |   Local Yocal  •  McKinney, TX 

Zane Williams  - Thank you for inviting me to share a night at Local Yocal in McKinney with you.  It was a wonderful reunion with one of my favorite singer-songwriters on the planet.  I had forgotten how great you really are live and solo.  For those of you who don't know Zane, I had the pleasure of co-producing 2 of his albums, Overnight Success and Texas Like That.  We had a blast doing those albums, and we got to perform a number of songs off of both of them. Thanks to a full room for such a great night, and thanks again, mi amigo!

What a truly special experience with such a captivating, engaging audience.  I cannot think of a better way to celebrate Christmas season.  Randy & Helen, you are such wonderful hosts!  I can't wait to come back next year.

 

July  11 - The Bartonville Store  •  Bartonville, TX  

I hosted Michael Hearne for the sold-out inauguration of the Second Sunday Singer-Songwriter Series at The Bartonville Store. It surpassed even our expectations. Many thanks to a wonderful group of true music fans who truly came to listen.  As usual, Mike delivered.

April 10 - In The Music Room • Waxahachie, TX

After 15 months of a live show pause for COVID, I got to share the stage with Crystal & Will Yates in this charming venue, hosted by Randy & Helen Treadway, that has seen so many iconic singer-songwriters form across the country.
 

2020
January 22 - Poor David's Pub • Dallas, TX

I never would have thought this this night would mark the last time I would perform for over one year.  COVID appeared a couple of weeks later and I wound up cancelling all of my shows for 2020, as well as the first quarter of 2021.  While we have all suffered, I can honestly say I hit the pause button on a high note, sharing songs for the first time with Helene Cronin, one truly gifted singer-songwriter.  Thank you Helene, and thank you David and Carlos, and thank you to so many friends and fans who showed up on this truly special night.

 

2019

April 11 - Gerino's Donkey Ranch Concert • Spicewood, TX
It's the first time I've ever played with donkeys walking around (I just thought they were kidding!). Beth Wood and I had a blast at this amazing, beautiful Texas hill country venue. We went well into the night (again) with plenty of tequila, just to make sure everyone stayed sharp.

April 6 - Lake Eufala House Concert • Lake Eufala, OK
Two of the most gracious music lovers (and now, friends) one could ever meet ... Phil & Sue Smauder opened their doors to Beth Wood and me for a great night of music, food, drink and lots of laughs. Can't wait to come back!

March 1 - Lake Charles House Concerts - Lake Charles, LA
What a wonderful turnout and what a great group of folks. Thanks so very much, Jim & Kay Watson, for your gracious hospitality and friendship ... I gotta get back to Cajun country soon!

February 22 - Dosey Doe - The Woodlands, TX
It was my fiirst time into the Big Barn, and I'd never seen Guy Forsyth or Brian Pounds. We sure had a great time trading songs and stories in this amazing storied venue.... SOOOO talented - both of them. Thanks for having me, Steve Said.

 

November 18 - MCL Grand Theater - Lewisville, TX

Beth Wood and I had a blast performing to the best crowd ever there. Than you all SO MUCH for such a special evening, in a concert venue that's in a class by itself north of Dallas.

November 16 - Anderson Fair - Houston, TX
Tom joined Beth Wood for Tom's first time performing in the legendary singer-songwriter venue. Thanks to so many Houston and beyond friends who came out. What a great night!.
 

2018
October 11 - CDD Unwind - Houston, TX
Susan Gibson floored a packed house. She always floors me too, and I love singing on her songs and hearing her sing on mine..I always leave inspired when I play with her.

September 6-8 - Michael Hearne's 16th Big Bance Dance - Taos, NM
It was surreal to finally see Chris Hillman perform Eight Miles High and Turn Turn Turn. It was my first time seeing Jon Fulbright and Beat Root Revival, who turned in stellar performances as well. All in all, it was my favorite Barn Dance ever. Many thanks to so many friends and fans who came up and reached out over the weekend... it's what makes this event so very special.

August 9 - The Saxon Pub - Austin, TX
My first time into this storied club turned out to be one of the most difficult shows I have ever done ... sandwiched in between the passing and the funeral of my dear sister-in-law, Karen Word, Karen and Rusty were bringing all their friends, until her tragic and sudden death left all in shock. As they say, the show must go on. A special thanks to people like Don, Jim, Rob and others who came out and supported us, and especially to Karen's adorable daughter, Sydney, who came and listened. A night I will never forget.

June 30 - Pederson House Concert - Colorado Springs, CO
One of these days Beth and I are going to get to play outside again, but on this night plans changed abruptly when a cod front blew through and dropped the temperature to mid 40's with wind chill. So we shifted gears, unplugged completely, and had an amazing night I will never forget. Thanks again the The Pedersons, Bill Donovan, and all the wonderful friends, and new faces who came out in the cold of June... ha!

March 18 - Songwriter Series House Concert - Bend, OR
Beth and I got to perform the final night before John Cook (RIP) moved from this stunning home overlooking Bend. This was my first time to Bend, and we couldn't ask for a better host or a better venue. Thank you, John, for your world class accomodations, food, sound, and dinner after. And thank you, Beth, for inviting me to share the stage with you.

March 17 - Artichoke Music - Portland, OR
Beth Wood was so gracious to invite me into her world. This was my first trip to Oregon. What a great listening room filled with such a wonderful group of true music fans! Special thanks to the Georgeffs for coming out.

March 10 - Lake Eufala House Concert - Lake Eufala, OK
Seeing as this was the first house concert for Phil and Susan Smauder and their guests did not know my music, I had no idea what to expect. I can only say, "WOW!" What an amazing group of loving, listening people who shared Oklahoma with me and Cindy in grand fashion. I can't wait to introduce some of my other singer-songwriter friends to the area. Many thanks to both of you, your family, and your friends for a weekend we'll never forget.

February 11 - Stallion Springs House Concert - Fisher, TX
It was sleeting and 33 degrees an hour before the show. Talk about everything working against you for a fun Sunday afternoon. 30 minutes before the show there was one person. At showtime, as The McDonalds calmly promised, the place was standing room only. Many thanks to everyone of you who came. Beth and I had an absolute blast and the food was amazing. We can't wait to come back and do a show i that cool hill-country backyard!.

November 14 - Think Differently House Concert - Southlake, TX
Bob & Polly Hamp has invited Tom in to close out the 2017 season of talks with a music concert. He's even going to sit in with me!

October 20 - Schreiver House Concert - Pearland, TX
A repeat one year layter with Susan Gibson sitting to my left to trade songs with. Thanks to all who came and gave so generously to meet Gwen's need as we worked towards finishing what we started. Thanks to tjhose who gave online. And to the Schreiver's - who could ask for better people!

July 29 - Pederson House Concert - Colorado Springs, CO
Beth Wood and I had our first ever "garage concert". What a great crowd, and what a blast. To the entire Pederson family - thanks for taking us in and sharing your wonderful hime and fabulous food!

June 25 - The Black Box - Lewisville, TX
Thanks to Michael Hearne for a great night in one of my favorite DFW venues ... and thanks for having us, Tim Phillps!

June 10 - Los Encinos Ranch House Concert - Wimberly, TX
This was my first time at this wonderful house concert setting, but I sure hope it won't be my last. As usual, it was really special trading songs with Mike Hearne.

February 16 - Dallas Country Club - Dallas, TX
Susan Gibson is so much fun to play with ... her stories, quick wit, and amazing songs, left DCC members and their guests in awe.

March 3 - Poor David's Pub - Dallas, TX
What a great night sharing songs and stories in-the-round with life-long friends Willis Alan Ramsey and Brice Beaird. Thanks so much for all the friends who came out, so many whom I haven't seen in years ... and thanks for having us, David Card, and Happy PDP Birthday!.

November 5 - Schreiver House Concert - Pearland, TX
A perfect night outside, made more special with Susan Gibson sitting to my left to trade songs with. Thanks to all who came and gave so generously to meet Gwen's need. As for the Schreiver's - you are truy special, wonderful people with BIG hearts!

October 15 - Possum Kingdom House Concert - The Cliffs, TX
In one of the most beautiful homes I have ever been in, it was one of those rare collisions of natural beauty coupled with perfect weather for an evening overlooking Possum Kingdom lake and the hills beyond. Thanks so very much to Lori & Michael for opening up their magnificent home to all of us for their first ever house concert.

Sept.8-10 - Michael Hearne's Big Barn Dance - Taos, NM
Every year I say it, and every year it's true. This was the best ever. Thanks to Jennifer Peterson and Jim Bradley for their extra special effort and talent on so many of the songs, and thanks as well to Don Richmond, Jimmy Stadler, and of course Mike Hearne, for making the end of the set explode. Notable new comers who I really enjoyed hearing and getting to know were The Tejas Brothers, Jack Tempchin and Dale Watson.

June 10 - The Allen Library Theater - Allen, TX
It's quite rare to share the stage with two extraordinary talents like Beth Wood & Susan Gibson. If you were there, you know what a blast it was. Couple that with one of the finest small theaters in North Texas ... well, that's a night I'll never forget..

April 9 - Wales Manor - McKinney, TX
What a wonderful night, trading songs with Jon Christopher Davis & Chaz Marie in such a fantastic outdoor venue... Wow! And a special thanks to Susan Gibson for dropping by and bringing the house down. A special thanks to so many fans and friends who drove so far

January 10 - MCL Grand Black Box - Lewisville, TX
Such a great venue... They have done a fantastic job putting together an intimate concert room - as good as any in DFW.  I got to share the stage with Crystal & Will Yates and they killed it, as usual.
 

2015
December 20 - Luckenbach Concert Hall - Luckenbach, TX
No better way to end the year than performing with Susan Gibson in Luckenbach. Even a cold rainy day didn't hold back the wonderful crowd that showed up. Many thanks to my friends and family who made the drive, some from afar...

Friday, November 20 - The Barn Party - Mansfield, TX
Now that was a Barn Party! What an awesome barn, made all the more enjoyable with Beth Wood by my side and an incredibly gracious crowd.. . not to mention an incredible washboard performance by the amazing Mr Hurt!

September 10 - Michael Hearne's Big Barn Dance - Taos, NM
For the first time the festival was held in town, at Kit Carson Park. Wow ... what a venue! Bigger is not always better, but it sure was for this event. Thanks so much to Mike and all who were involved for making this such a wonderful event, and for including me. Thanks to Susan Dilger at KNCE for continuing to spin my tunes long after the festival had ended. I'll be back soon!

September 5 - Gate City Music Festival - Raton, NM
I didn't know what to expect... a totally new town of people who had never heard of me before. It surpassed my highest expectations. What an amazing crowd that showed up to watch 4 hours of music with me, Will and Crystal Yates, and the amazing Deana Carter & Band, giving one standing ovation after another. It was singer-songwriter heaven.. The Shuler Theater is one of the coolest places I have ever performed and Danny Brown knocked it out of the park with killer sound. A special thanks to my new radio DJ friend Jesse Martinez for getting behind the music on KRTN radio.

September 3 - The Bar - Dalhart, TX
When a bar puts live music in for the first time, who knows what will happen. It was an incredible night of great music and fun with Crystal & Will Yates, and a fabulous crowd of Dalhartians (is that right?!?). Thanks to Jessica Austin, the Heisers and the Winings for making it all happen.

August 15 - Pederson House Concert - Colorado Springs, CO
Beth Wood and I returned for #5. Our last show we battled the worst fire in Colorado Springs history. This year we fought off torrential rains long enough to get in a first set outdoors before dashing inside to finish unplugged. What an awesome night of unparalleled beauty of nature coupled with great music. Beth just gets better and better!.

July 24 - Uncle Calvins - Dallas, TX
What a fantastic night, joining up with Texas artist and 2015 Wildflower winner George Ensle ... he's the real deal.

June 13 - The Testicle Festival - Grapevine, TX
What a great day with an all-star lineup at Austin Cunningham's event hosted by Love & War. Zane Williams Band, Johnny Rodriguez, Gary P Nunn, Jay Johnson (RIP), Jon Christopher Davis, Crystal & Will Yates. We had a ball, or two... Then days later came the crushing news that Jay had taken his life. What a loving, giving, generous soul. My prayers continue to go out to his family He will be greatly missed by so many.

May 9 - Black Box Theater - Lewisville, TX
Last summer I played a great house-concert in Carrollton, TX. (ref. Aug. 23 2014), and I just had the honor of sharing my music again with friends of Dennis Mitchell (RIP), the host of that house concert, a dear man who is fighting esophagial cancer. I joined Guthrie Kennard and other singer-songwriters to raise money and prayers for Dennis. My prayers are with you every day .... "when you call upon the heart, He hears every word you say...",

May 2 - Brazos Valley House Concerts - Possum Kingdom, TX
Bob and Ann Wood ... what a spectacular evening. Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your grand finale. Beth Wood and I got to play the first one 7 years ago (ref. Sept. 29 2007 below), and here we are together again as you prepare to make the move back to the big city... Vaya con Dios y gracias!

April 18 - MCL Grand Theater - Lewisville, TX
Truly one of the finest experiences I have ever had in a live setting. Getting to perform for the first time with two of my all-time favorite artists, together on the same stage, was something I will never forget. Beth Wood and Michael Hearne... we knocked it out of the park. I can't wait to do that show again, and there are a LOT of people who feel like me.

October 18 - McKinney Performing Arts Center - McKinney, TX
I got to share the stage with Lee Roy Parnell and Jon Christopher Davis. It was my first time to see Lee Roy and he was simply amazing. His slide work was unparalled.

September 4 - Michael Hearne's 12th Annual Big Barndance Music Festival - Taos, NM
Mike's amazing event just gets bigger and better every year. Amazing sound and lights, and a captive audience that hung on every word of every performer. Truly the songer-songwriter experience of a lifetime for both musicians and fans.

August 23 - Mitchell House Concert - Carrollton, TX
On a very hot summer night I had the pleasure of performing to a sell-out crowd at the Mitchell's beautiful home. They really know how to do a house concert. Thanks to so many new fans and friends who came to the show.

April 11 - Pearland, TX - Schreiver House Concert
House concerts just don't get any better than this. A cool evening in South Texas with great food and a wonderful crowd of old fans and new music lovers. Thanks so much to Delma and Rick Schriever for believing in the music as you do and for allowing me into your beautiful home.

I got to do 2 shows back to back with the amazing Beth Wood. Both of these venues are just FANTASTIC... as nice as anything this state has to offer! Man we had a blast, she just gets better and better every time we play.

September 6-8 - Taos, NM - Michael Hearne's Big Barn Dance
The question every year is, 'Can it get any better?' The answer is, "Yes!" I had the distinct pleasure of performing under the lights on the first night - what a treat that was. Jim Bradley and Jennifer Peterson actually took the time to learn a number of songs, as did Ezra Idlet, Don Richmond, Jimmy Stadler. Thanks SO much to all of you... Jennifer, what a voice! And thanks to Mike for having me, and for sitting in on Do Bea's Dance. To cap off the weekend, I got to sit in with Zane William's band - a rare treat...Thank you Mike! 

July 19 - First Christian Church - Pasadena, TX - FCCP Coffee House Summer Series
Sometimes shows just feel "right"... like you know you are supposed to be there. I was truly taken back to have the opportunity to perform in a their beautiful church. The entire experience was what I wish church could be more of... open hearted, and full of His Love. To Rick, Delma, Michael, Shirley and all who helped - thanks for letting me be a part of your vision, and thanks for sharing so much sincere Love.

July 13 - Gruene, TX - Gruene Hall
Jon Christopher Davis and I opened for a sold out Radney Foster show. What a blast... and talk about a great crowd! This is what Texas music is all about. As usual, Radney brought his A-Game. A wonderful 60th birthday eve experience..

March 24 - Alvin, TX - Leitner House Concert
Zane Williams and I had a blast! Like so many first class house concert experiences, this was such a wonderful, up-close, intimate experience. Great food, beautiful home and grounds, new friends, and amazing hosts. Thank you, Greg & Pam. You even sprang into action when we realized we had NO cords to plug in the PA system!.

My first unplugged house concert... what a blast! Many thanks to the Hatleys for providing such a wonderful venue, and to JCD for sharing the music. Great food, and we met so many new wonderful acoustic music fans!.

September 6-8 - Taos, NM - Michael Hearne's Big Barn Dance
Many thanks to Don Richmond (The Rifters), Ezra Idlet (Trout Fishing in America), and of course Mike, for sitting in. I made so many new friends this trip, and reconnected with old ones, in what has become the best outdoor festival on the planet. As always, many thanks to my dear friend, Michael Hearne and his amazing staff for putting on this entire event - and thanks for sitting in this year as well ... what a treat!.

June 23 - Colorado Springs, CO - Pederson House Concert
My 4th concert here with Beth Wood proved to be a real challenge. What started as a beautiful day, turned into the beginnings of the worst fire in Colorado Springs history. We performed to a backdrop of massive smoke to the south. In spite of it all, everyone there was so very engaged. I am so grateful to this amazing family for opening their house to us and sharing their lives with us. Bill and Tammie, thank you as well for all yout help, love and support... Beth, you rock!

June 2 - Addison, TX - Troubadour, TX Summer Series
Swapping songs with Zane Williams & Kylie Rae Harris (RIP) in a killer outdoor venue. A municipal setting / event where people come and actually sit and listen, and then line up and buy CDs afterward... what's up with that!?! Thanks to everyone at Troubadour, TX and thanks for the wonderful sound system as well.

April 19 - Addison, TX - Troubadour, TX - N. Texas Finale Concert
What a fantastic way to close out the first season of Troubadour, TX ... such a beautiful night!

March 30 - Dallas, TX - Poor David's Pub
I opened for life-long friend, Willis Alan Ramsey to a crowd of long-time friends as well as lots of new fans. Thanks to so many who came up affter the show and got CDs. Hearing Ramsey's magical sound brought back some great memories.

January 11 - McKInney, TX - Cadillac Pizza Pub
On this freezing cold night we had one of thre more magical events. Brady Mosher came out and played lights-out guitar. It was my beautiful daughter's birthday, and the crowd was simply amazing, on a night of all "ones" 1/11/11. Thank you!

August 14 - Colorado Springs, CO - Pederson House Concert
Simply perfection. That a family could continue to be so kind, loving and generous just baffles me. I finally got to stay with the family at their house. What a blast. As usual, Beth kicked some serious butt...

March 31 - Dallas, TX - Dallas Country Club
What a gracious wonderful crowd that drank in a night of music with the amazing Adrian Cabello and myself. Gotta do this one again!.

January 12 - Marble Falls, TX - TexAmericana Tuesdays @ River City Grille
I had heard it was a great gig... I finally got to play there and now I see why Mike Blakely & John Greenberg's show has become one of the best showcase nights in the state. A house concert environment in a restaurant!?! Who would'a thunk... Thanks to all who came from all over and listened.

September 11 - Taos, NM - Mike Hearne's Big Barn Dance
What a blast! Mike, Carmen, Zeke & Don Richmond... wow! Trout Fishng In America, Jimmy Davis, Buzz Cason, Mentor Williams, Terri Hendrix & Lloyd Maines - on and on.... So many new friends and getting to hang out with so many old ones. I can't wait until next year.

August 22 - Colorado Springs, CO - Pederson House Concert
I know it sounds like a broken record, but this event gets bigger and better each year. This is the ultimate "house concert".

August 21 - Guffey, CO - Ritas Place
Thanks, Ruvo... it was everything I thought it would be. You are an amazing host with a treasure-chest of stories. Rita - you are an angel who makes the best brownies I have ever eaten in my life. To all who sat and listened - Thank You. What a wonderful night.

A guy at the bar said to me, "I have been to hundreds of festivals all over the world and honestly, this is the best one I have ever been to..."  He is absolutely right.

July 5 - Colorado Springs, CO - Pederson House Concert
Any time I get to swap songs with Beth Wood it's a big plus, but this was the bomb. Singing outside with Pikes Peak as a backdrop... wow! Davida & Anita Facchini showed up from Italy and blew everyone away at intermission made it a grand-slam night. As always, a special thanks to Evan & Dawn Pedersen, and of course to Bill Donovan for making the whole thing happen for a third tme. See you guys next summer.

September 29 - Possum Kingdom, TX
I had the distinct pleasure of sharing the stage with my fave female Texas singer/songwriter, Beth Wood. at her parents beautiful home in the country at Possum Kingdom Lake for their first in a great series of concerts.

May 19 - Archer City, TX - The Late Week Lazy Boys Supper Club
The Fantabulous Band showed up in full force for this one. The jailhouse across the street even let the prisoners out so they could sit on the curb and rock out..... only in Archer City. A special thanks to sweet Liz Foster for putting together such a wonderful evening and then taking the time to show the boys "the antenna". Already can't wait to come back

April 28 - Denton, TX - The Denton Jazz Festival
The Fantabulous Band headlined this Jazz Fest for the second time since the band's inception. Truly one of the most enjoyable shows we have ever had before a crowd of 4000+. Thanks to all who came and had such a great time! Prayers please for Stephen Bruton who could not be there because he is battling throat cancer....

April 7 - La Grange, TX - The Bugle Boy
Texas Music Magazine recently voted this magnificent spot the Best Small Listening Venue in the state.... I can see why. Thanks to all the folks that came from all over, braving serious rain from the east and snow (that's right snow!) to the west, all to create a night Beth Wood and I will never forget. Lane and Dawn, thanks for all your hospitality

Truly one of the most enjoyable evenings I have had in a long time with some wonderful folks. I sure enjoyed meeting all of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the great reception you gave me. Some of you may remember a group I was in called Flyer, with Brice Beaird and Ginger Brown Williams. What a blast we had... the three of us getting back together to swap songs for the first time in many years.

It was hard to imagine #2 being more fun than the first... It was. I truly want to thank all of you that came up after the show... It touched me very deeply. I already can't wait until next year as it's one of the most enjoyable places I have ever played. I'll be up there WAY before then. Thank you, Mike Hearne.

Simply one of the best venues in the state. Adrian and I want to thank the sold out crowd for braving the cold for the first set and then packing inside for the second. You were all so wonderful. As usual, Barney and Beverly treated us like kings. We can't wait until next year.
